How involved you want to be governing our democractic country is up to you.
- Some people let others determine everything by not even bothering to vote.
- Others vote in elections, but do not have the time or the inclination to do more.
Some believe that it is “all or nothing” – either you are fully involved in politics or you can do nothing at all.
That is not true. You can be involved as much or as little as you want to be.
This menu “Get involved” has many different things that you can do.
Some are free and take little time, such as posting a comment on an article you have read online.
Others, such as becoming an MP are a major life-changing commitment.
How much you do is up to you.
